Street is a small town ideally situated for exploring Somerset, it is also within a short walking distance of Clark’s Shopping Village, perfect for a holiday bargain.

YOUR HOTEL  The Wessex Hotel 3 star with a cosy refurbished bar in which to relax and a spacious ground floor restaurant.  All of the bedrooms have been recently renovated and have hairdryer, Television and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a choice of menu for your three course dinner followed by tea or coffee.

MONDAY  Depart local pick up points or Kettlewell’s garage and take a pleasant drive to the south west arriving after lunch, leaving ample time to relax and get acquainted with your resort before dinner.

TUESDAY  Day at leisure or optional excursion to Cheddar.

WEDNESDAY  After breakfast we leave for the historic Roman City of Bath.  We shall have time to see the interesting attractions including the Pump Room, Roman Baths and the Abbey.  There is also an excellent shopping centre.

THURSDAY Today we visit England’ smallest cathedral city of Wells and the mystical town of Glastonbury.

FRIDAY  Regretfully after breakfast we must leave our hotel and make  our return journey, taking a scenic drive through the Cotswolds.
